GARTSTRÒMIA · Visual Identity and Communication

Gartstròmia and Frame Girona have been working together since 2014, and year after year, along with the evolution of the event itself, we have been seeking a visual identity that defines the character of the event. Each year, we have worked with a new image, without losing its identifying essence. This year, the concept is that of a kaleidoscope in which you can observe how the elements merge to create a single impactful visual form. Once the new image is designed and created, the communication pieces are developed to carry out: posters, brochures, recognition plaques, banners, newspaper ads, totems, and menu and tickets.

Visual identity and communication. Gartstròmia is a fair in the town of Banyoles that merges art, gastronomy, and flowers. That's why the name itself represents the union of the two concepts: G-ARTS-TRÒMIA. Artists, restaurateurs, and producers from Banyoles and the Pla de l'Estany region work towards a common goal: the promotion and preservation of art, gastronomy, and local products. To celebrate this, a route has been created to enjoy these two elements; all the corners of the town center are decorated for the Flower Exhibition, and a tasting area is set up for the display and sale of gourmet products, all to ensure that the Gartstròmia experience is unforgettable.

Poster

The poster is the central element of the entire communication campaign; we can find the most generic practical information there, that is, everything you need to know in a first contact with Gartstròmia: Art, Gastronomy, and Flowers, at a central point of interest. This year, two great guests are joining us: Jordi Cruz and Elena Gadel.

 

Fold-out

If the poster gathers information from a generic point, the foldout contains all the practical information that may be needed. This is the event program. Here you can find the route to the floral spaces, the description of the activities that will take place, and a map to facilitate the search for all points of interest.

 

Recognition Plaque

During the Gartstròmia, awards are given to those who contribute to the Art of Food. A recognition plaque honors one of the most special moments of the entire event.

Banner

The online promotion branch has also been strengthened, and to do so, a series of interactive GIF banners have been created, allowing us to visually see the information.

Press announcements

Furthermore, various advertisements targeted at offline communication have also been created. This is the reason they have been designed and adapted according to the channel on which they will be subsequently established.

Totem

A promotional totem is a vertical sign of considerable size, designed to capture the attention and gaze of passersby. It is for this reason that they have been placed in strategic locations throughout the town of Banyoles.

Menu and tickets

One of the key elements of the event is the gastronomic routes, restaurants, and Gartstròmia spaces that join the event by offering special menus and tastings to visitors. It is for this reason that a brochure has been created where only this information is included. Visitors will be able to enjoy all these special places through tickets, which allow them to explore the entire area.
